The Senate requests the Office of the Auditor to conduct an updated audit of the University of Hawaii's management of faculty workload.

Prior audits in February 1973 and April 1997 found inadequate faculty utilization, insufficient workload policies, and improper faculty compensation.

The Office of the Auditor must report findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the Regular Session of 2014.

Certified copies of the resolution must be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor and the Board of Regents of the University of Hawaii.
