• References prior audit findings that identified inadequate faculty workload utilization, absence of clear policies governing faculty resource use, and improper faculty compensation.

• Directs the Office of the Auditor to report findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the convening of the Regular Session of 2014.

• Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor and the Board of Regents of the University of Hawaii.
