Urges the State of Hawaii to purchase 123 parcels of agricultural land totaling approximately 22,500 acres from Dole Food Company, Inc.

The requested purchase price ranges between $175,000,000 and $200,000,000, to be financed through general obligation bonds and revenue bonds paid back by current tenants and Waiahole Ditch revenues.

Cites Hawaii's constitutional mandate to conserve agricultural lands and notes the State currently imports 85-90 percent of its food, with approximately 494,407 acres of agricultural land classified as very good to fair.

Specifies lands suitable for conservation or preservation should be transferred to the Department of Land and Natural Resources, aligning with the State's Agricultural Parks Program objectives.

Directs certified copies be transmitted to the Governor, Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources, and Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture.
