Requests the Department of Transportation to designate Route 200 (Saddle Road) on the Island of Hawaii as the Daniel K. Inouye Legacy Highway when appropriate.

Route 200 traverses the width of the Island of Hawaii from downtown Hilo to its junction with Hawaii Route 190 near Waimea.

Honors the late Senator Daniel K. Inouye's 50-year tenure in the U.S. Senate, his role as Senate President Pro Tempore, and his securing of federal funds for Hawaii infrastructure projects.

Notes that upon completion of ongoing improvements and repairs, the State will have sole jurisdiction over Route 200, which currently has divided jurisdiction among federal, state, and county authorities.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Director of Transportation, Mayor of the County of Hawaii, and the County of Hawaii Department of Public Works.
