Designates January 17th of every year as a day to commemorate the Native Hawaiian struggle for justice and reconciliation related to the United Church of Christ's Apology to Na Kanaka Maoli and the United States Congressional Apology to Native Hawaiians (Public Law 103-150).

Marks the twentieth anniversary of both the 1993 United Church of Christ apology presented by President Dr. Paul Sherry and the 1993 Congressional apology signed by President William Clinton.

Recognizes Queen Liliuokalani's courage, faith, and devotion to justice, mercy, and reconciliation on behalf of Native Hawaiians following the overthrow of the Hawaiian Monarchy.

Commits the Legislature to furthering justice and reconciliation efforts between the United States government and Native Hawaiians.

Directs transmission of certified copies of this resolution to federal officials, Hawaiian civic organizations, religious institutions, and educational centers that have supported reconciliation efforts.
