Working group composition includes Insurance Commissioner (chair), Directors of Health and Human Services, health care provider representatives, health care professionals, and consumer stakeholders.

Working group to assess insurance recoupment problems, study the impact of limiting recoupment initiation periods, and review recoupment mandates in other states.

Working group required to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2014 Regular Session convening.

Resolution addresses acute care hospital financial crisis caused by Medicaid reimbursements that fail to cover actual service costs.
