Requests the Department of Budget and Finance to create a Task Force for Responsible Fiscal Action to address long-term state financial planning and stability.

Task force will be chaired by the Director of Finance and comprise two Executive branch appointees, two Senate members (one from majority, one from minority), and two House members (one from majority, one from minority).

Task force duties include reviewing fiscal imbalances, analyzing projected expenditures and revenues, assessing the state's actuarial financial condition, identifying factors affecting long-term fiscal imbalances, and analyzing potential courses of action.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2014 Regular Session convenes and will be dissolved on June 30, 2014.

Department of Budget and Finance will provide technical support to the task force.
