HI HB1009

Increases the maximum number of unrelated adults with developmental disabilities that can reside in a certified adult foster home from two to three.

Allows dually certified homes (operating as both foster boarding homes for children and adult foster homes) to accommodate up to six total residents instead of five.

Maintains the restriction that no new adults may be admitted to a dually certified home while foster children are residing there.

Takes effect on July 1, 2013.
