Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes section 304A-2603 to require the University of Hawaii Board of Regents to obtain legislative approval for the amount of revenue bonds and specific projects before issuing them.

Current law authorizes the Board of Regents to issue revenue bonds for parking structures and related facilities without specifying a legislative approval requirement.

The amended law adds a condition that the legislature must approve both the revenue bond amount and the specific projects on which the bonds will be expended.

Effective date of July 1, 2525.
