Exempts members of task forces that existed on or after June 3, 2010, and their designees or representatives from certain provisions of Hawaii's code of ethics.

Applies the exemption retroactively to cover the entire existence of the mortgage foreclosure task force created by Act 162 in 2010, which ceased to exist on June 30, 2012.

Specifies that the exemption applies to subsections (a), (b), and (d) of section 84-14 (conflicts of interest), which restrict financial interests and representative activities.

Requires task force members claiming the exemption to comply with disclosure requirements under section 84-17.

Effective upon approval.
