Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes section 712-1226 to exempt antique slot machines from gambling device possession laws when not intended for use in prohibited gambling activity.

Defines "antique slot machine" as any coin-operated gambling device that is twenty-five years or older from the date of manufacture.

Changes language in the statute from "which is not social gambling" to "that is not social gambling" for grammatical clarity.

Maintains that possession of a gambling device (other than qualifying antique machines) remains a misdemeanor offense.

Takes effect upon approval and does not affect rights, duties, or proceedings that began before the effective date.
