Establishes the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands Legislative Oversight Committee to ensure transparency and analyze the department's governance, operations, fiscal responsibility, and program administration.

Committee composition includes members from standing committees of both houses of the legislature with purview over the department, jointly chaired by the respective standing committee chairs.

Committee shall meet publicly to solicit input and recommendations for the department.

Committee may collaborate with administrators from the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and Department of Human Services in performing its duties.

Act takes effect upon approval.
