Establishes the Office of Hawaiian Affairs Legislative Oversight Committee within Chapter 10, Hawaii Revised Statutes to oversee operations of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.

Committee shall ensure transparency, analyze governance and fiscal responsibility, review commercial lease assignments, and examine other issues impacting the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.

Composed of members from standing committees of both houses of the legislature whose purview includes overseeing the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, jointly chaired by the respective standing committee chairs.

Shall meet publicly to seek input and recommendations, and may consult with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, and Department of Human Services as needed.

Takes effect upon approval.
