Effective July 1, 2014, the salary of the administrative director of the courts shall equal the salary of the administrative director of the State as set by the commission on salaries pursuant to section 26-56.

Effective July 1, 2014, the salary of the deputy administrative director of the courts shall equal ninety-five percent of the salary of the administrative director of the courts.

Repeals previous statutory provisions that set the administrative director's salary based on judicial salary commission recommendations and the deputy director's salary at a discretionary level determined by the chief justice.

Administrative director and deputy director remain appointed positions without regard to civil service requirements and serve at the pleasure of the chief justice.
