Requires the Department of Budget and Finance and Department of Public Safety to collaborate on a study analyzing health care costs for incarcerated persons aged 55 and older.

Study must include current number of inmates 55+, projections for the next ten years, current health care cost analysis by age group, and projected costs through 2024.

Departments must establish a plan to manage projected increases in health care costs for aging inmates over the next ten years.

Requires submission of analysis, findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2015 regular session.

Takes effect upon approval.
