HI HB2011

Creates the agribusiness land and facilities special fund administered by the Agribusiness Development Corporation to receive legislative appropriations, operational revenues, lease revenues from agricultural lands, and matching funds from private or public sources.

Authorizes the Agribusiness Development Corporation to subdivide agricultural lands owned or controlled by state agencies and exempts subdivided lands from infrastructure and road requirements to encourage farming.

Requires each county to enact an agriculture subdivision code by 2015 to promote agriculture, or the corporation may establish one for any non-compliant county.

Authorizes the Agribusiness Development Corporation to issue revenue bonds to acquire specific agricultural lands on Oahu currently owned by Dole Food Company, identified by 140 tax map key numbers, with proceeds deposited into the special fund.

Requires water resources on acquired lands to be reserved for agricultural use and any lands used for agricultural workforce housing to continue serving that purpose; effective July 1, 2030.
