Increases Hawaii's minimum hourly wage to $8.00 per hour effective January 1, 2015, $8.50 per hour effective January 1, 2016, and $9.00 per hour effective January 1, 2017.

Increases the tip credit from 25 cents to $1.00 below the applicable minimum wage, provided the combined amount from employer and tips is at least 50 cents more than the minimum wage.

Requires employers using the tip credit for tipped employees to pay their non-tipped employees a wage that is at least $1.00 more than the minimum wage.

Repeals previous minimum wage provisions of $6.25 per hour (effective January 1, 2003) and $6.75 per hour (effective January 1, 2006).

Takes effect on July 1, 2014.
