Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 587A-10 to require the Department of Human Services to visit children placed in resource family homes at least once per month.

Monthly visits must continue until the child's adoption is finalized, legal guardianship is finalized, the child reaches eighteen years of age, or the court orders otherwise.

Maintains existing requirements that the department provide relatives with foster placement applications within fifteen days of request and notify all relatives within thirty days of assuming foster custody.

Takes effect upon approval.
