Increases the salary cap for the Superintendent of Education from $150,000 to $250,000 per year.

Authorizes the Board of Education to set the superintendent's salary up to the new cap amount based on factors including breadth of responsibilities, experience, skills, and job performance.

Requires the superintendent to undergo an annual performance evaluation aligned with other department of education employee evaluations and based on outcomes determined by the Board of Education.

Allows the Board of Education to condition a portion of the superintendent's salary on performance.

Act expires June 30, 2024, and reverts the salary cap to $150,000 unless reenacted; existing contracts remain in effect through their duration.
