Raises the contract amount threshold for procuring officer verification of offeror compliance from $2,500 to $5,000 for contracts awarded under section 103D-305.

Offerors must continue to comply with all state business laws (chapters 237, 383, 386, 392, and 393) and produce documents demonstrating compliance upon contract award.

Verification of offeror compliance remains required for all contracts awarded through competitive sealed bids, competitive sealed proposals, and other specified procurement methods regardless of dollar amount.

False affirmations or certifications by offerors remain subject to suspension from further offerings or awards under section 103D-702.

Effective date is July 1, 2014, with no effect on rights, duties, or proceedings that matured or began before that date.
