Permits family child care homes to operate in agriculturally designated districts if located in a farm dwelling, notwithstanding existing sections 205-2 and 205-4.5.

Establishes family child care homes as a permitted residential use in all residentially designated zones without requiring conditional use permits, variances, or special exceptions.

Amends the definition of "family child care home" to allow care for one to six unrelated children at any given time, changing the previous threshold from three children.

Eliminates the requirement for conditional use permits, variances, or special exceptions for residences used as family child care homes in residential areas.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
