Establishes a task force within the Department of Education to locate viable properties along the Wai'anae coast, with preference for a location in Nānākuli, for a Hawaiian language immersion school serving kindergarten through grade twelve.

Task force membership includes the superintendent of education (as chair), executive director of the state public charter school commission, chairperson of the Hawaiian Homes Commission, chairperson of the board of land and natural resources, chairperson of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs board of trustees, Honolulu mayor, and community stakeholders.

Task force members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for expenses and are exempt from Hawaii Revised Statutes chapter 84 conflict of interest provisions.

Task force must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature at least thirty days before the 2016 regular session convenes.

Task force ceases to exist on June 30, 2016; bill takes effect on July 1, 2030.
