Requires Kids Voting Hawaii Inc. in collaboration with the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to solicit recommendations for a state musical instrument, including input from primary and secondary students.

Mandates submission of a list of musical instrument recommendations to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2015 regular legislative session convenes.

Specifies that any recommended instrument must be indigenous to Hawaii and important to native Hawaiian culture.

Requires the recommendation list to include ukulele, pahu drum, steel guitar, ipu, and nose flute.

Permits designation of multiple instruments as the official state musical instrument, with one being a kahiko (traditional) instrument and one being an auana (modern) instrument.
