Requires private employers with 50 or more employees to provide paid leave for employees serving as organ, bone marrow, or peripheral blood stem cell donors.

Provides 7 days per calendar year for bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cell donation and 30 days per calendar year for organ donation.

Employees must submit written verification of donor status and medical necessity; employer must maintain health insurance coverage during leave period.

Employer may require employees to use up to 3 days of earned leave for bone marrow/stem cell donation or 2 weeks for organ donation before receiving unpaid leave.

Employers must restore employees to their original position or equivalent upon return from leave; prohibits discrimination or retaliation against employees exercising donation leave rights; effective July 1, 2050.
