Amends Act 24, Special Session Laws of Hawaii 2009 to modify the composition of the Reentry Commission established within the Department of Public Safety.

Replaces the reentry coordinator position with the director of public safety as an ex officio nonvoting member of the Reentry Commission.

The Reentry Commission continues to monitor and review the comprehensive offender reentry program, including facility educational and treatment programs, rehabilitative services, work furloughs, and parole oversight.

The commission maintains its 10-member structure consisting of three members selected by the governor, three by the senate president, three by the house speaker, and one ex officio member (the director of public safety).

The commission is scheduled to cease operations on December 1, 2015.
