Encourages state departments to conduct business with sustainable business corporations and promote their growth in Hawaii.

Recognizes that sustainable business corporations voluntarily meet higher standards of corporate purpose, accountability, and transparency under Act 209, Session Laws of Hawaii 2011.

Notes that sustainable business corporations prioritize creating public benefit and consider impacts on workers, communities, and the environment alongside shareholder interests.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Comptroller, and heads of state departments including Agriculture, Commerce, Health, Labor, Education, and other agencies, as well as the University of Hawaii Board of Regents and Sustainability Association of Hawaii.
