H.C.R. NO. 127 Summary

• Requests the Governor to issue an Executive Order requiring state agencies, boards, and commissions to post meeting minutes on their websites within 30 days after each meeting.

• Requests all state agencies, boards, and commissions to voluntarily post meeting minutes on their websites within 30 days after meetings, in compliance with Hawaii Revised Statutes section 92-9.

• Directs the Office of Information Management and Technology and Office of Information Practices to provide assistance to state entities in posting their meeting minutes online.

• Requires the Office of Information Practices to report to the Legislature by 20 days before the 2015 Regular Session on which state entities have and have not implemented posting meeting minutes on their websites.
