Requests the City and County of Honolulu to name the new Central Oahu Ambulance Facility after the late Loretta Fuddy, Director of Health.

Loretta Fuddy was appointed Director of Health in 2011 after three decades of experience in the Department and was a respected national figure in health services and public health administration.

Director Fuddy was killed in the line of duty on December 11, 2013, in a commuter plane crash off the Kalaupapa peninsula while serving the Kalaupapa community.

The Legislature appropriated funds to the City and County of Honolulu in Act 134, Session Laws of Hawaii 2013, for the Central Oahu Ambulance Facility to provide emergency medical services to Leeward Oahu residents.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor, Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu, and Director of Emergency Services of the City and County of Honolulu.
