Request Department of Transportation to conduct traffic and safety studies on the H-1 Freeway during weekday commute hours (5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. eastbound, 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. westbound) between exits 2 and 21B to develop alternative traffic solutions and assess feasibility of adding a shoulder lane from exit 2 to exit 8A.

Request Department of Transportation to study Kunia Road (Highway 750) on weekdays during morning (5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.) and afternoon (3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) rush hours between the H-1 Freeway off-ramp and on-ramp at exit 5B/5A to develop alternative traffic solutions.

Require Department of Transportation to report all findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2015 Regular Session begins.
