Property is a 4,411 square foot parcel appraised at $46,900 as of July 1, 2013, by Harlin Young & Co, Ltd.

Parcel was originally Government (Crown) Land of Waimanalo as of August 15, 1895, and is part of the Hale Aupuni affordable housing project built in 1974.

Public informational briefing was conducted on August 7, 2013, at Waimanalo School cafeteria with notice published August 2 and 5, 2013; no objections were received.

Draft resolution was submitted to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs on September 17, 2013, more than three months prior to the 2014 regular legislative session as required by statute.
