Department of Education is requested to study the impact of children of international students attending public schools in Hawaii.

Study must include descriptive statistics on the number of children of international students attending public and private schools in the State.

Study must calculate the unsubsidized per capita cost of attending public elementary and secondary schools in Hawaii.

Department of Education must submit findings and report to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the regular session of 2015.

Certified copies of the resolution are to be transmitted to the Board of Education Chairperson, Superintendent of Education, and Director of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism.
