Request the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts to conduct a complete inventory and valuation of all state-owned artwork, art pieces, and art collections, whether displayed publicly or in storage.

Require the Foundation to submit a report of findings to the Legislature no later than 45 days before the convening of the 2015 Regular Session.

Background: The Art in Public Places and Relocatable Works of Art programs were established over 40 years ago using one percent of state capital improvement expenditures to fund art for public buildings, becoming a national model adopted by other states.

Transmission of certified copies to the Chairperson of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and the Comptroller.
