Request Department of Health to begin monthly testing of Pacific Ocean seafood products caught locally and elsewhere, with results reported regularly to the public.

Department of Health must submit a report to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2015 regular session on testing progress and results.

Request United Nations General Assembly to establish an independent commission of scientific, health, radiation experts, and consumer advocates to assess radiation safety in Pacific seafood and develop public education and emergency treatment procedures.

Request U.S. elected officials to maintain Environmental Protection Agency radiation limits at or below pre-March 11, 2011 levels and conduct regular testing and reporting of radiation in air, water, soil, and food.

Direct transmission of the resolution to the United Nations General Assembly, UN Secretary-General, U.S. Ambassador to UN, President Obama, Hawaii's congressional delegation, and Governor Abercrombie.
