Request that the Department of Transportation (DOT) determine whether international signage is needed at the intersection of Wilikina Drive and Kamehameha Highway in Central Oahu.

Direct the DOT to compare the accident rate in this area to similarly situated thoroughfares in Hawaii to assess if it is higher or lower.

Require the DOT to determine whether installation of international signage can be completed within existing budget appropriations.

Mandate that the DOT consult with the Wahiawa Neighborhood Board regarding placement of any new signage if deemed warranted.

Address confusion among tourists unfamiliar with Hawaii's traffic signs, particularly regarding one-way designations, which has created hazardous U-turn and wrong-way driving situations.
