Urges the Governor to proclaim 2014 as the Year of the Worldwide Voyage.

Acknowledges Hokule'a, a traditionally navigated vessel that proved the feasibility of intentional Polynesian voyaging and settlement, first sailing from Hawaii to Tahiti in 1976.

Notes that Hokule'a will depart Hawaii in 2014 on a worldwide voyage covering 47,000 miles over four years, visiting 26 countries and 85 ports.

Recognizes Hokule'a's mission to raise awareness of ocean protection and Hawaiian knowledge regarding natural resource management and sustainable practices.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, Hawaii Tourism Authority, and Polynesian Voyaging Society.
