Recognizes and honors the late Hawaii Department of Health Director Loretta Jean "Deliana" Antone Fuddy for her contributions to promoting the health and well-being of Hawaii's people.

Acknowledges Fuddy's numerous awards including the Hawaii Outstanding Advocate for Children and Youth Award, National Association of Social Workers Hawaii Chapter Lifetime Achievement Award, and Ford Foundation Innovations in American Government Award.

Recognizes Fuddy's over 30 years of service in government leadership, including serving as Mayor of Kalawao and holding leadership positions in multiple public health organizations.

Notes that under Fuddy's direction, Hawaii ranked as the healthiest state in the U.S. in 2013 according to the United Health Foundation's America's Health Rankings.

Directs that certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Hawaii State Department of Health, University of Hawaii schools, Hawaii Pacific University, and various national public health associations.
