Supports restriction of importation of all plants in the Myrtaceae family to prevent introduction of new strains of ohia rust (Puccinia psidii) into Hawaii.

Supports coordination and information sharing between federal and state inspection agencies, including manifests and interception data for identifying pests of federal and state concern.

Supports development of federal and state inspection facilities for cargo entering Hawaii as a practical and cost-effective option for biosecurity operations.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Hawaii's congressional delegation, the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, and the Hawaii Board of Agriculture Chairperson.
