Requests the Hawaii Department of Transportation to establish a committee to coordinate road maintenance scheduling among state and city agencies to minimize public inconvenience.

Committee should be chaired by a HDOT employee and include one to two representatives from the Legislature, HDOT's Highways Planning Section, City and County of Honolulu's Department of Design and Construction, and City and County of Honolulu's Department of Facility Maintenance.

Recommends the department prioritize appointing civil service employees to the committee to ensure long-term continuity and stability.

Requests the committee meet two to three times annually to discuss road improvement proposals, coordinate project schedules, and ensure public awareness of upcoming road work.

Requires the committee to submit a report to the Legislature detailing its activities and legislative recommendations by twenty days before the start of the 2015 Regular Session.
