Requests Hawaii's electric utilities to establish a planning goal of meeting 100 percent of Hawaii's energy needs from renewable sources indigenous to Hawaii.

Requires each utility to submit a written report to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the Regular Session of 2015 detailing their plan for providing sufficient usable energy when imported fuels are no longer viable.

Report must include the utility's anticipated business structure in the year it projects imported fuels will no longer be a viable energy source in Hawaii.

Report must address whether each utility can meet the 100 percent renewable energy goal for each island it serves using only indigenous Hawaiian renewable sources.

Applies to Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc., Maui Electric Company Limited, Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc., Kauai Island Utility Cooperative, and directs copies to the Public Utilities Commission Chair.
