Requests the Department of Land and Natural Resources to conduct a management study on replenishing natural populations of all four Hawaiian opihi (saltwater limpet) species.

Study must encompass all islands of Hawaii, including the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, and recommend best management practices for each island area.

Study must recommend effective enforcement mechanisms to implement the best management practices.

Department requested to consult with the Aha Moku Advisory Committee and other relevant experts during the study.

Department must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than December 19, 2014.
