Requests the Chief Election Officer to establish additional election polling places in State House District 4 (Puna district, County of Hawaii) for the 2014 primary election.

Cites that State House District 4 has one of the fastest-growing residential populations in the state and voters on the district's outskirts must travel long distances to polling places.

Notes that in 2012 primary and general elections, only three polling places served the district despite other Hawaii County districts with comparable registered voters receiving more polling places.

States that additional polling places would relieve voter burden and reduce workload at existing polling locations.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor, Chief Election Officer, and Chairperson of the Elections Commission.
