Congratulates the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women for 50 years of commitment to creating equality for women and girls in Hawaii.

Recognizes the Commission's advocacy for Title IX "Women's Education Act of 1972," which prohibited sex discrimination in federally-funded educational programs.

Acknowledges Commission efforts to advance workplace protections for breastfeeding women, prevent discrimination against domestic violence and sexual violence victims, and ensure sexual assault victims receive emergency contraception information and access at hospitals.

Credits the Commission with initiating the Hawaii Women's Coalition, creating the Hawaii Family Economic Self-Sufficiency Standard Advisory Committee, and establishing Women's Health Month and Women's History Month programs.

Expresses the House's warmest aloha and best wishes for the Commission's continued success.
