Request the Department of Education to partner with the Department of Agriculture, Office of Planning, Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation, and other agricultural stakeholders to develop a farm-to-school program providing locally grown produce to salad bars at all public schools in Hawaii.

Encourage the Department of Education to provide salad bars at all public schools in the state.

Require the Department of Education to report to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2015-2019 Regular Sessions on efforts to develop and implement the farm-to-school program, including any proposed legislation.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Education, Superintendent of Education, Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture, Director of the Office of Planning, and President of the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation.
