Encourages state departments to conduct business with sustainable business corporations established under Act 209, Session Laws of Hawaii 2011.

Recognizes that sustainable business corporations voluntarily meet higher standards of corporate purpose, accountability, and transparency while creating public benefits for society and the environment.

Notes that sustainable business corporations consider impacts on workers, communities, and the environment alongside shareholder interests.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Comptroller, and heads of all state departments and agencies to promote sustainable business corporations in Hawaii.
