Request that the Department of Land and Natural Resources submit a report to the Legislature on the status of each of the eleven existing marine life conservation districts established under Hawaii Revised Statutes chapter 190.

Report must include an evaluation of whether the marine life conservation program is achieving its intended purpose both overall and for each individual district.

Report must include determination of whether any marine life conservation districts should be modified and an explanation of why past reports have not been submitted to the Legislature.

Department must submit the report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to each legislature member no later than twenty days prior to the 2015 Regular Session convening.

Certified copy of the resolution to be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
