Appropriates $150,000 from general revenues for fiscal year 2014-2015 to establish one full-time equivalent permanent position in the department of health for home care agency licensing.

Supports implementation of home care licensing requirements enacted under Act 21 (2009), which designated the department of health as the licensing agency.

Initial state funding is necessary to begin the licensing process; after the first year, licensing fees collected from home care agencies will cover administrative costs.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
