HI SB2020

Creates a new chapter establishing an agricultural foreign-trade zone to provide businesses with warehouse savings, import/export incentives, manufacturing benefits, and export financing opportunities.

Restricts the foreign-trade zone to three specific parcels of land identified by tax map keys: 7-1-002: 009, 7-1-002: 023, and 7-1-002: 004.

Grants the foreign-trade zone division of the department of business, economic development, and tourism jurisdiction and administrative authority over the designated zone area.

Extends chapter 212 foreign-trade zone benefits to all businesses operating within the zone whose services relate to agriculture.

Effective date: July 1, 2050.
