Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 580-47(a) to require child support payments for adult children pursuing education be made directly to the adult child rather than to the custodial parent.

Applies when the adult child is presently enrolled as a full-time student in, or has been accepted into and plans to attend as a full-time student for the next semester, a post-high school university, college, or vocational school.

Maintains existing provisions requiring three-month notice prior to the adult child's nineteenth birthday and automatic suspension of support if proof of full-time enrollment or acceptance is not provided.

Takes effect upon approval.
