Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 658H-3(b) to clarify exemptions to the Uniform Mediation Act

Removes language limiting the mediation exemption for judges to cases where a judge "might make a ruling" and simplifies it to apply when a judge conducts mediation on "a case"

Maintains existing exemptions for mediations relating to collective bargaining agreements, collective bargaining disputes, school and youth correctional institution mediations

Takes effect upon approval
