Updates pen register court order requirements to specify "telephone line, cellular telephone, or electronic device or service" instead of just "telephone line" in three separate statutory provisions.

Maintains existing exemptions for devices used by providers or customers for billing, cost accounting, or other ordinary business purposes.

Takes effect upon approval.
